I am also looking for something similar for my home office, and a friend recommended Ballard Designs. I haven't decided exactly what to get yet, but I'm leaning toward that instead of pottery barn's Bedford line for a couple of reasons. One, they have a much larger selection of pieces (and you can pick exactly which types of drawers you want for a desk set up, whereas pottery barn doesn't let you do that). Another reason is that theirs is solid wood and pottery barn is not. I don't remember for sure, but I think the prices are pretty similar, or maybe a bit cheaper at Ballard Designs. Check out their web site, they have a downloadable brochure with all the dimensions and it makes it a little easier to visualize. They have a 15% off online coupon from time to time and if you sign up for their emails, they let you know when.

lynn, the boxes of hardwood were labeled "red cumaru" but I don't know if that's correct. We had several problems with the NC company we ordered from and (while we think the floors are pretty) they're not the Brazilian Teak we ordered. dilly, I can't wait to add some storage containers under the desk but we have a 17month old right now and she would have too much fun pulling everything out of the drawers. I think by the end of summer I may be able to get away with some storage under there. I love the picture of the wicker drawers...where did you find that?

Glad you like the suggestion(s). I have a similar color in my livingroom, Behr's War Muffin but it's a stronger gold and I ended up repainting two of our walls cream to help tone it down a bit. Now I love it but when I chose it, I new nothing about painting or color. I think having a more muted tone would have been my preference if I had known then what I do now. Lighting has so much to do with it too, if you paint a sample on your wall, the Oat may not be as muted as it seems on the card. This isn't our room, but it is a good representation of the Warm Muffin color. As for the drapes, I got the 2nd photo off of google images, the first one is from Pottery Barn. I love the idea of a printed drape. If you're leaning in that direction (or even a printed rug) I would first find the drapes or rug you want and then pull your wall color from them. I'm really looking forward to seeing what you end up choosing and how your project looks when it's done!

I’m not a pro, but have some thoughts around layout and if new set up doesn’t work for you, still consider decor ideas. - You could try desk section on back and wall on right. You mentioned e-learning and not Virtual meetings, so no need to worry what’s behind you. Place your table lamp in corner of desk - couch on left wall with the floor lamp so you can read there and a side table on other end with large art above - I‘d remove table that had the lamp and add a floor plant to the right of desk before closet I think rug only needs to be in middle of room for impact - maybe 5x7 but just measure. Add complimentary cushions on couch. I’m just showing how to compliment vs a specific look or color scheme. Think about what you like and search for inspiration pictures and use rug as the jumping off point. - chose paint to compliment rug (go light) and I would paint out moulding so room feels less patchy - pictures should be lowered and moved if rearranging room - with group of four placed on back wall. No matter where they are located, try long one on bottom, two smaller above each other and mid size to their left, (ensuring the bottoms lined up) so grouping is a square.
