Edgecomb Gray is a good contender. I would get large samples (like Samplize) and make sure that it works very well with your fireplace. Your cabinet by the table might be too yellow and might not work, but it was not on the "must stay" list so that may be okay to you.

Edgecom. Gray while very popular can look murkey. I tred it in one of our rental apartments.

I was disappointed. You have lots wall with different exposures.

You definitely need to sample paint. In the space.
I’d look into something more beige than gray. Or even blue or white.
Especially with the existing (brown) flooring

Window treatments can be an off-white pick a color that's in the fireplace if it's gray then go with the gray you want and it fits a beige then pick that

Wow! Thank you. I did get a sample of edgecomb gray and it isn’t going to work-so any suggestions are appreciated!!

If anyone has any thoughts on paint colors to try, that would be great. I do like a more beige category of paints. I’m really trying to complement the fireplace. Love the Samplize suggestion!!!

The burgundy window treatments must go.🙂. It’s a lovely house and I think you are on the right track with the kitchen valence. It’s hard to see colors when you don’t turn on all the lights, but I think the valence has blues and greens in it. You can have a nice neutral on the walls and bring the blues and greens into rugs, curtains and accessories. Everything will work together without being too matchy matchy.

You have enough beige and greige. I would go for white or blue walls as rendered by @hu-1875 above.

I'd pick 3-4 colors that complement the fireplace. Perhaps something like an off-white, perhaps something that's a little more white, and maybe another one. If you like pops of color, they really need to relate to other things in the room(s). You can pick same color throughout the home, or use one color in one room and something slightly darker or lighter in another room. What do don't want is the home looking too much like a rubix cube. Put the color on a piece of poster board and leave a margin around it. Put it next to floor, and next to FP, etc. Look at it as the sun changes throughout the day. Places you can add subtle color is in window treatments, rugs, throw pillows, etc. You have a lot of grey in the FP, and the floor looks like it leans toward grey.

SW pairs City Loft with Snowbound, both of which have undertones of violet/pink, and looks it like some of the stone has those undertones which is great. Only you are in the room, tho.

Snowbound would be great in the entry foyer.
