Apparently my FIL asked my DH on our wedding day, "Are you sure you want to do this?"

We have been married over 40 years. My FIL was always very loving towards me so it was a surprise when DH told me that.

Hahaha...I knew a gal who had a sister who got married. Apparently dad was not a fan of the guy and all the way down the aisle he was saying things like, "It's ok, we can just turn around right now and walk back out!"

Oly, I think it was along the lines of ”Wow, can you believe this?”- there was no malice or hidden agenda. We had been married for a very long time by then, probably more than 20 years.
