I love the ones you mentioned and almost all from NPR. I recently discovered The Moth which is people telling stories of something that happened in their life. There was a great one recently about a mom who discovered a very inappropriate email sent to her daughter by a guy the daughter knew. It was kind of funny -- the mom's horror, then how to tell her daughter she had snooped in her email, then confronting the kid who sent it. It was told in a half-joking manner until the end when it was quite poignant. I recommend The Moth. The only thing I don't like about Fresh Air is how they have to promote all their sponsors before they get to the conversation. Here is a link that might be useful: The Moth

On the lighter side, I have really been enjoying The Sporkful. Dan Pashman is a very engaging host with an infectious laugh. I too have been curious about the HBO documentary. I don’t have HBO. And I read the news coverage about the new trial ruling being reversed by the state Supreme Court, which means his sentence is being reinstated. At least from the excellent account on Serial , I thought the new trial ruling would be upheld.

I discovered Criminal during lockdown & agree it's so good I binged it - also sorry I now have to wait for new ones. I really enjoy Atlas Obscura's podcasts. They're not very long, but take you to marvelous places around the world and here at home. I second Serial, and another from members of the team at This American Life - S-Town, which is a long deep dive into sort of southern gothic true story. And of course, This American Life and Radiolab. Jad Abumrad of Radiolab did a really cool podcast series about Dolly Parton awhile back that is just excellent. I'm also enjoying Michael Lewis' Against The Rules very much. And The Shrink Next Door is a fascinating true story as well. It was made into a TV series with Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd.
