What is the cabinet molding style used in the above kitchen?

I'd call it recessed panel with really narrow stiles and rails. Some people might say Shaker with narrow stiles and rails.

I believe Bob is asking about the molding on top of the cabinets, not the cabinet door style.

We did something similar above our Shaker cabs. I wanted a simple, flat molding in keeping with the Shaker style. My contractor ordered extra light rail strips from the cabinet comoany (Tedd Wood), and cut them to size.

I have to start with the tub apron itself. I don't like anything that has to do with the picture frame molding on the tub apron. I don't get the frame that runs off the right side of the tub apron and behind the side fo the vanity. I understand that the wall continues off behind the vanity. I just don't get the trim layout and the 1-1/2 frames that cover the tub apron. With that in mind, I'd want the frames on the tub's back wall to mimic, or at least try to relate to, the frames on the tub apron. They don't. Not even close. A single large frame on the back wall. 1-1/2 frames on the tub's apron. To keep the frames on the back wall at a minimum I'd want a chair rail on the left and back tub walls and I'd want to paint the chair rail and everything below it white. Good luck with it.

You may want to post your question on the Home Decorating forum. I think you'll get a lot more response. The base molding often matches the trim around your doors and windows and crown molding color can vary depending on the wall color. Posting pics of your cabinets and flooring will help. Kmoth, that question makes me smile! It's actually not hardwood at all, but cheapo laminate that's supposed to look like Brazillian Cherry. Our flooring choice was a slave to our budget, but we plan to switch it out for the real McCoy in ~10 years, after we get through the young kids phase. Luckily it looks nice; we had a friend over for dinner and she asked if our hardwoods were original to the house. Imagine her suprise when we explained it was plasty-wood (which is what we fondly call our laminate). CADreamer, Moving-in in two days!! Hurray! I don't know how I missed that the first time I saw this post. I am still amazed at how quickly your kitchen came together. Can't wait to see pictures!

what style of crown molding?

I had posted a question about crown molding because I wanted to finish that before finishing styling the room. In its current state, it is no where near done or finished. The light will be replaced and lower. Also need to finish arranging the furniture and likely removing a few pieces. We recently moved and this is a bit of hodgepodge furniture right now. The sideboard is a repurposed piece of furniture that has a lot of sentimental value so while I agree it is not the right scale, I will make it work. I envision the final product to be something like this.

It's not molding, it's trim. I have it in my kitchen. Simple and clean - I love it!

It's a flush filler, created by creating an L shape plus attachment blocking, and scribing the filler to the ceiling. Very advanced carpentry/cabinet installing. Plus, frameless cabinets.

Minardi is right. It's an L-shaped molding....some brands call it 3" subrail or 6" subrail. Shiloh even has a 10" subrail. You can get same effect with blocking and a filler or flat stock. But to be able to pull it out some, you need a subrail "L" shaped molding.
