Wall paint color to go with walnut cabinetry

I have stained walnut cabinets in my kitchen and can't paint them. Want to update the look with a more current color. Looking at SW Worldly Gray. Could that work? Changing floor to a LVF that has both beiges and gray in it. Not worried about it working with the floor but more with the cabinets. Using aged brass and black for lighting finishes, black hardware for cabinets.

I need to see thw whole space lease and preferably after the new floor is in . Wall colr needs to work with everything in the space and is best chosen last .

I think I’m just wanting to be sure this paint color works with this color stain. I know this all has to work together but the flooring works with the paint and the flooring looks good with the cabinet. I guess my question is just do these two colors (paint and stain) work together?! I know paint comes last :) I hesitate to put too many photos of things on because they don’t really ever look like they do in person. If you only had to answer could they work together - do they :)

Painted cabinets...I went with an English Chestnut stain (very similar to Walnut) on my oak floors, I decided to use white painted/glazed cabinets that touch the floors then I went with Maple cabinets on the uppers that will be stained in the same color as my flooring...while maple may have a different coloring than oak, it should still look okay...I just don't like the look of two woods competing with each other.... Can you post pictures? Honestly, I don't recommend you spend the time, effort, and money to redo the cabinets. Wood cabinets are in style, and a tile countertop should be the first thing to go.

A blue would need a lot of green in it to be optimal to work with the green undertones of walnut. Turquoise sand sea greens work very well. Baby blue, royal, and navy, less so.

@Ac Lb Hi! I went with SW Alabaster on walls and SW extra white in semi gloss on the trim and uppers. Will post a picture. One thing, use the SW Emerald if going with alabaster - the contractor did ProMar 200 and it was awful. They upgraded to Emerald and it made a HUGE difference, the walls look entirely different.

Do not go into the world of gray. Stay with your natural wood cabinetry. Seriously. The gray ship has sailed.

Not painting the cabinets :) painting the walls and it is greige (can lean beige). Yes gray is over!
