What color furniture

Finishing a remodel that makes an open concept living room/ kitchen/ dining area. the walls are light gray, kitchen island is navy, kitchen cabinets are white. what color sofa & recliner should I purchase: navy or gray? should they both be the same color or can one be gray and one navy?

Yes, i havent purchased the rug yet as wsuting on furniture color. are you saying dont buy grsy furniture or dont buy a gray carpet?

What color did you paint the walls? For walls or for bedding, I'd go with ivory or light beige, being careful it doesn't look yellow, not stark white. White might make the black furniture look harsher. Even though apple pie always has very good advice.

I'm suggesting purchase the rug first and then pull colors from it for the furniture. No gray rug or furniture. Gray is gone by the wayside so don't add more to your already gray walls
