Does anyone sell plants and stuff in a garage sale or fundraiser?
Comments (17)I live in a small town where there's not a lot of perennials available from the nurseries. And lots of what's for sale isn't really for this zone. For several years I've had a perennial plant sale in the spring. Mostly divisions of whatever happens to need dividing at the time. Now that I've started this, it seems hard to quit. People stop me on the street and ask me when my sale is. I sell everything at a very reasonable price. I pot the divisions in used potting mix. It makes it easier to keep the divisions healthy until the day of the sale. Some plants were divided in the fall and are in pots sunk in the garden. It's a lot of work but I get to meet a lot of people who are very happy to get hardy perennials. Every year I say that's the last one, but I always have stuff that needs a home....See MoreHas anyone bought from poshmark?
Comments (5)I just recently learned about Poshmark, purchased a new dressy jacket that I had tried on at Dillard's ($165.00) for 22.00 plus the 6.90 shipping fee. It arrived in 2 days. I had 'liked' the jacket, so was notified when the seller dropped the price. Yesterday I listed some items that no longer fit. I sold 3 of the 6 things within a few hours. I like how Poshmark collects the shipping fee and sends pre-paid shipping label to be printed. Easy-peasy....See MoreDoes anyone know who sells Hoary (hairy) Pucoon plants ?
Comments (9)I've seen Hoary Puccoon out on the Hi Lonesome Prairie southeast of Sedalia, MO in a field that didn't look particularly sandy, more just like good ol' upland Missouri tallgrass pasture. It was in an area that had been burned recently, along with various grasses just emerging, Nothoscordum bivalve, Viola pedata, and Castilleja coccinea. So I don't think it needs sand necessarily, but whether some other organism needs to be there seems like it could be a possibility....See Moredoes anyone local sell japanese maple SHIN DESHOJO?
Comments (0)I like the description that says it is colorful in both spring and fall. But all the places I found online that sell it are sold out. By local, I mean local to Raleigh. Thanks for any information!...See Morewoodrose
