I have seen previous posts before but do not know if someone already has it. Try doing a search in the forum. This variety blooms on old and new wood. The blooms in the pictures were only ”ok” to me. As it blooms slightly early, you may have spring blooming issues in areas with frost but then you will get a second flush later in the summer/fall.
Macrophyllas can certainly come in lacecap form!! But this is a rather unique, daylight neutral hybrid, of which macs are just one parent.....the breeder declines to disclose the other two species involved. I would not expect this plant to perform in the typical macrophylla manner - the daylight neutrality accounts for the early and extended bloom on both old and new wood.
