Agree 100% with Patricia. The garage door color is perfect...it blends right into the siding so it doesn't call attention to itself. This home looks very nice. Just do the small items (larger lights, colorful chairs and new front door color) mentioned by Patricia and don't do anything else unless they decide they want more landscaping. Right now the house is as cute as it can be IMO.

I agree that you need to live with things in order to know what changes you want to make. Now, you will only be able to afford cheap cabinets and you don't even know how the bathroom "works" yet. You may learn that you want mostly drawers instead of cupboards, or that you don't need (or do need) the vanity space to sit and do hair and makeup. You will also learn where the most convenient spot is for storage. Your bathroom is in fine, clean condition. Live with it a while.

A macrame or tapestry over the headboard would give you art and textile together. Do you have a beautiful art object or keepsake to set on the dresser and reflect in the mirror?
