reach in/walk in? WYYD

Which would you do in this scenario…. Keep a “walk in” closet that is approx 110” long and about 4’ wide BUT you can only use one wall…. Or put a reach in closet in and gain 1.5 feet(ish) of space and open up the space a little?

If I go with the closet route I will be closing off the opposite end of where the opening is now, to create a corner for a 5 drawer dresser in the bedroom. Currently the closed off wall is near the entry door and is on a weird angle.

*also, due to windows and hvac units those are the only 2 configurations that will work.

Here’s some ideas I drew up. It’s a kitchen builder app, but you’ll get my ideas.

The framed space with no walls is the closet.

Is that little walking room even that important? I have a simple wardrobe; jeans hoodies shirts, not really many jewlery pieces to display…

walk in and close other end of closet
