Pretty setting. The first thing that pops out to me is the entry porch and the decorative gable do not align and that makes the porch look odd. (Plus it's a strange size - too big to just use as an entry, but not big enough to set chairs on.) Is there any way to align the two? Oh, and there isn't a way to access the porch from the driveway. You need a sidewalk. On the shingle color - I'd pick a color with a higher contrast to your siding color. Is the siding beige? If so, I'd pick a medium brown (not tan).

Do you not like the current color? Are you planning on painting the house or trim at some point? If you like it, I say go with the current color, if possible.

Patricia, our whole house is cedar and beams are fir. So siding, trim, soffit and fascia are cedar. The beams are fir. I meant the stain color we chose is called Black Walnut, we did not go with a black walnut wood. We have been getting all of our ideas from just searching "mountain home" on google. This is a house we designed ourselves and just had someone draw it up for us, so we don't have an architect that is helping us with the design. I don't like the look of doing natural cedar. It's not quite in my budget to hire an architect or design studio to help chose everything for us.

I agree. A warm white is a classic color for stucco, as your roof color is like a red/orange tile. I'd use an olive green on the shutters and door.
