Comments (4)Yes. Regarding the wattages of the fixtures, if you're planning on using LED bulbs I wouldn't even concern myself with the power draw. Most LED bulbs (60 watt incandescent equivalent or less) use 10 watts or less. Candelabra LEDs are typically 5 watts. However, if you are planning on dimming them you'll need LED dimmable bulbs and an LED compatible dimmer, all readily available....See MoreDinning Table for 10 person and dinning room arrangement
Comments (12)Notepad, I thought you explained it pretty well. I don't think you need anything more than your table and buffet. As for space, take a roll of painter's tape, tape off the dimensions of the table, allowing about 3- 4 feet around the perimeter for the chairs, then see if there would be room for a buffet, and if so, where would it best fit....See More1901 living room and dinning room redecorate
Comments (10)I love your trim and I hope you'll keep it stained. Your beautiful home has a lot of character. These are a few suggestions. Take them or leave them since ultimately it's your home! Replace the traditional / fussy drapes with something simple. Replace the dining room chairs with something with clean, simple lines. Is there any chance your TV could fit inside of one of the built-ins? If you removed the bottom shelf, the TV would be much less obtrusive tucked in there. Then you could put a nice piece of framed art above the fireplace. Remove all of the small decorative items from the surfaces: buffet, fireplace mantle, shelves. Replace with fewer more impactful items. Remove one of the cabinets from the dining room. Right now you have three and they seem to be differing styles. I'd be inclined to remove the corner one since it seems to coordinate less well with the other items. Replace the slipcovered sofa with something new and more tailored....See More4-way stretch upholstery fabric for dinning room chairs
