First do not pressue wash brick , the best part of the house is the brick BTW The sutters do not belong . IMO you hav e afbulous MCM brick ranch but what you really need is landscping and for me all the trim in a dark gray or a nice sage green would be nice . This is my fave inspiration for MCM landscaping and simple upkeep , make a note of the front door and garage door too. Please do not paint the brick no matter what .

Stark white rarely looks good with red brick. The starkness of it can make earthy tones look dingy in contrast to it. Its too bad that everyone puts in the stark white vinyl windows when other color options are available.... cos that unfortunately kinda shapes the color pallette and not in a good way ... there are ways of painting vinyl (google) but at best a temporary measure lasting 5-10 yrs. Im usually quite tolerant of shutters... in some cases they can add colorful decorative accent.... but in your case.... visually they are out of whack and I would remove those. Paint color for eaves - change the tan to a gray-greige to blend with your roof color and then where I would put my $$$ would be a new midcentury style DOOR with horizontal glass that echos the horizontal of your windows. It could be the same white as the windows or venture into purple or blue or whatever floats your boat.

The brick colour and elongated shape are the same as my parents' house, built in 1967. The original had dark brown wood trim on part, and it looked great. A later renovation added an almond colour, but in my opinion the dark brown looked the best.

I agree that the shutters don't complement the house style. Landscaping that covers some of the larger areas of brick or siding, would look good.

Don't pressure wash brick. You can damage the brick or grout. If there is soil or dust splashed up on it, just lay down some mulch to prevent this, then hose off the brick gently.
