Red/Green colorblind DH and I need help with countertop & backsplash ideas in our very BROWN retirement casita in Arizona. Hope is to do both master and guest bath with same countertop as kitchen to keep cost in line. Backsplash is just for kitchen. Cabinets are maple, very red gold, and we'd prefer not to paint (he's a carpenter, painted wood offends him!). Walls throughout the house are Accessible Beige. Floor tile is BROWN -- beige, brown and dark brown. It pulls a little bit gold. Appliances stainless. Would like quartz for low maintenance but most are stark white, great with a gray or anything BUT beige. We love busy patterns but feel like we have to keep things super un-busy here so as not to conflict with the tile. Present kitchen & master bath that has BROWN shower accents shown. Thus far, we don't hate QDI Surfaces Primo Bella Statuario Pisa Quartz

and Maravilla Coastal Ivory Honed Marble Diamond Mosaic backsplash which may be too busy but the colors don't seem to clash. Glazed subway would be fine for backsplash if we can find a color that works. Our problem is that this whole color scheme reminds us of a cheap 1960s motel where someone left their cigarette on the edge of the sink and made a yellow mark. Thank you so much!!!!!
