Is the interior 1st story wall where I marked load bearing? It wasn’t an addition added later on, which you can see in the 2nd picture from a few years after being built. The floor joists run parallel to that wall but the basement stops at the wall so I’m uncertain if it’s the same for the side closest to the garage. I am wanting to widen the doorway and make it more open concept.
