Comments (6)Just as with any search engine the more specific your search term the more relevant the results. Imagine what all you would get if you search "pears" on Google or Bing. ;-) So you have to be more specific in your search terms. Yes "pears" will pull up all sorts of posts from all over the site. It tells you everything you wanted to know - or didn't want to know - about "pears" or any post pears were even discussed in regardless of title. Comments (4)You have to put the word followed by the forum name, for example, “Cleome in Roses”. The best way to do this is to open the forum then search in the top bar. Comments (44)Given how much content Houzz has now, they really need to fix their search system. Even searching for their own articles (stories) is useless. I put in a search for "Heating off-grid house". The first article that showed up was "House Rule: Off With Your Shoes". Really? How exactly is that relevant? I'm sure Houzz has lots of relevant content to offer me, but if it's impossible to find, what's the point. I have much better luck searching through Google, which sometimes takes me back to Houzz, but often doesn't.
