I actually like the blue wall color. It’s a nice contrast with the white couch. My suggestion would be to add a new rug with blue overtones, but not too dark. Also a throw and pillows in the blue pattern that compliments the new rugs would go a long way in changing your overall look. I would go with clean simple lines for a wooden coffee table and simple lines for lamps (chrome or stainless?) with white shades. I like the white shade against the blue.
