I am on RRD watch again.
Comments (20)BTW if a new rose has root to root contact with the remains of a rose that had RRD, or a neighboring rose which has RRD and may not be symptomatic-- then yes, new growth can emerge at the base infected. Sorry to say I have seen this many time at a rose garden where I volunteer. They had a hedge of infected KnockOuts, didn't remove it promptly, and RRD starting popping up all over their 50 acres....See MoreNever again.. am i just a wimp?
Comments (34)Quite a mixed bag here-- but I will still continue to eat my breasts lol. I absolutely agree that there is a difference in flavor based on where you get your chicken. I have a local store that carries only chicken from a local farm-- and I think it's quite good. If I buy from another store, I either get bell & evans (local but I believe available nationwide) or a local kosher chicken which is generally "cleaner". PA is actually a pretty big producer of both chicken and turkey. There are more options available from small organic farms but they aren't as convenient for me since I don't drive. Comments (34)I record most of what we watch, but we also watch shows using our antenna that the cable service neglects to provide for us. Last week-end I discovered that we get a "Surf" channel from our antenna - all surf, all the time, complete with surf music, which I like. I haven't seen any commercials on that channel, but that might change, as I think it is a new channel. We get three times as many PBS channels through our antenna as we do through cable, and I watch a lot of those - except for the Kids channels. I mute all commercials that I cannot FF through. I remember back in the 1950s and early 1960s when commercials used to be entertaining, especially the ones for Jax Beer:...See MoreAre you ever tempted to watch an older show again?
Comments (73)CherryFizz, I watch H&I pretty regularly as well :-) But when I was married I was pretty much force fed all the Star Trek shows....and Battlestar Galactica, Stargate, Babylon 5, etc., etc., etc......so those I now avoid. But I like the other cop shows - NYPD Blues, Nash Bridges. Monk, Jag and The District. And West Wing is available on Netflix, if you get that. I re-watch the entire series every now and again. IMO, one of the best shows to ever appear on TV!!...See More- 2 years ago
