What is the flooring you are showing and how much of it is there? IMO all the same flooring is the best so a bit mor einfo probably . I live my LVP and my laminate but I need info. Post all of that here in a comment DO NOT start another post.

Use the same flooring you have to replace the carpet, I would not change types there.

I don’t have the same flooring and I know that is the ultimate suggestion but I don’t have that option can you suggest nj next best option type and color. The current grey floor is tile

New carpet.

Or a stone look tile that either matches in color or contrasts like slate.

I agree no real wood so a really simple porcelain tile 12 x24 could work if a color from the tile you have can be found. I think in this case maybe either that or go back to new carpet . Can you tell us why you can't change the tile you have which IMO btw is a dated look.

This room is going to be a party room. It’s now an old format living room. Need to replace the flooring. I can purchase more of the current tile and continue. By the way what does imo mean?

I cant replace the tile is because the same grey tile is in my kitchen family room dining room and foyer.

I see so it’s your option the title is dated ? Hum. I wanted hard wood but to chose the tile because I have a dog that could damage the wood. The look is suppose to look like hardwood planks. I guess extending the current color and tile will look best. I can buy more of it. Thanks again
