Traditional Dining Table - Need Help integrating to match our decor
Comments (2)My inclination would be to paint it black, not with chalk paint, but a high-gloss finish. Love something like this canvas for your room…bridge cables. $69.00 each…an industrial take on the high back dining chair. Rug has to go anyway, but it isn’t the right size/shape. You need something that is at least 2’ bigger than the table. Probably and 8 x 10. The wall decor, I am glad you are replacing it. I don’t think that mirror is the answer, though....See MoreHow to Decorate Dining Table When Not in Use
Comments (8)your table and chairs are too cool for words whatever you choose next to them-should be worthy of them. Price doesn't matter; gorgeous fixtures and art can be found for cheap if one's lucky and knows where to look; personality does. that's what I keep (whether we eat or not; obviously take off if a big party) on our dining table-a 2 by 3 embroidered wool runner, a wooden bowl with fruits, a colorful jar from Mexico, and flowers in a simple vase(flowers change of course). It sounds a lot, but it isn't. My table is simpler than yours though. So..I'd say just one thing, be it flowers or beautiful bowl (not wooden, in your case..porcelain or maybe metallic?)..or nothing, as Fori and Manon suggested-with a different lighting fixture, will be cool as is....See MoreWhat Dining Room Table would look best? Comments (1)I would go with the lighter. It's more timeless and would blend nicely with your existing oak....See MoreNeed decor help for dining room table
Comments (4)honestly less is more, I would consider a new light fixture and wall art. move the bench to the back and the chairs to the foreground. Or if there is a leaf in the table take it out and remove the bench altogether....See Morekl23
