September 11-Never forgotten

One of the reasons I ended up on GardenWeb is 9/11; I wanted to find people to talk to. It was really hard for me to take, and I couldn't even work for the first few years on the anniversary. I still listen to What a Wonderful World, since it's emblazoned on my brain from when it was banned; I remember driving to work the next day and being so numb, but hearing that song one last time for a while. I still watch "102 minutes" every year. I still look up stories to read every year. I used to find them on 2,996 (was that the name), where people wanted so badly to be a part, they'd pick a lost person and research what they could and post it online. I don't see it anymore, but I am probably misremembering the name of the website. Stories can still be found. If I had a flag pole, I'd fly my US flag at half mast today. I remember them all. Hug them close.

P.S. I wasn't trying to post the moment it happened, but that is almost what I did. I missed it by 15 minutes. Eerie! My mind must relieve it, exactly as it happened.
