Hello,

We just bought a new house that has a funky layout. I am starting with the design of living room first. This is a great room with a kitchen/living room combo and I am stumped with layout. Here are some pictures of how the previous owners used the space. We are in the process of painting the cabinets a blue/green color (SW Succulent) and adding gold hardware and corian countertop. The rest of the great room will be an off white (BM Timid White/ceiling is BM chantilly lace). We are also going to take out the oak box fluorescent light and the mystery box above the pennisula (used to hold up upper cabinets). The only think I own is a honey oak dining table and a beige hutch. I want to balance out the intensity of the dark green cabinets in the rest of the room (maybe an accent wall of the same color??) The design style I am drawn to is an organic modern/natural/boho type design. I would LOVE any help or advice you can give me!!!
