Landscape Help Needed: Large Gap Between Shed and Patio

Shannon Ebron

Hey everyone,
We could use some landscape advice! We've been working on fixing up our shed - it got moved recently, and we had a new foundation laid. Now, there's a gap of about 3 feet between the shed and the red rocks and stamped concrete patio. The foundation sits about 2 and a half feet below the top of the patio, which could be a safety concern and might lead to water issues. We definitely don't want anyone accidentally falling off the patio into that gap, and we need to prevent any water erosion under the foundation.
We have a landscaper coming next week, but we'd love to hear your ideas on how to tackle this mess and make it look fantastic. By the way, we're getting the shed repaired, new siding, new roof - it'll be like brand new!So, what would you recommend for filling/landscaping the area around the shed? Any tips on handling drainage and erosion would be super helpful too. We want a landscape design that that is easy maintenance, simple, and pretty. Would love to hear your recommendations and ideas. It's a mess now, I know. I am in Pennsylvania.
