Why are they like this? LOL!

This week, in my office, I have been playing various Christmas movies on my projector inside. A Christmas in July thing if you will. The movie projects onto a screen from BEHIND. My boss mounted it for me so it could play in a big useless glass window we have inside that separates our side from the drivers side. You cannot see the projector at all without being on OUR side.

I have been playing various holiday movies like that for many years.

A funny thing I have noticed over and over and over.

When the lady drivers walk in, they see the movie playing and say things like "I love that movie!" or "How fun! The Great Pumpkin!" etc. They just enjoy the fact that it is there.

The men.......oh the men

Its like a choreographed dance. I can predict their every move. They walk in, see the movie, and IMMEDIATLY turn around and look up because they want to see the projector, which of course they cannot, because as I stated above, I have it projecting from behind the screen. Cue the confused look, and then the slow spin move looking up and down EVERYWHERE trying to see where it is coming from. Then the aimless hand waving while staring at the screen, hoping that they will wave said hand in front of the mystery source of the movie and cast a shadow, therefore solving the riddle. Then, failing that, they ask "WHERE is that movie coming from?" EVERY SINGLE TIME. They MUST know LOL. I refuse to tell them. I prefer to scold them for trying to uncover my tricks and secrets, and send them on their way to load. SHOO! Most of them will try again to ask me to tell them when they are leaving and come to get their paperwork.

I mean I am not one to buy into or endorse or encourage stereotypes, especially gender based ones. But I can honestly 100% swear that no woman has ever been so bothered this, and I can safely say that about 97% of the men are. I wonder why? And I wonder why so few of them have ever figured it out on their own.

I had one driver call me 3 hours after he left and asked me was it projecting from behind. I asked him if he had been thinking about it for the whole 3 hours since he left, and he confirmed that he had. HE HAD TO KNOW!!! SO FUNNY!
