Michael, I did the same search as you when looking for a cream colored vinyl railing system. Couldn't find it and ended up changing the cream to white to match. Good luck, I hope you are more successful than I was. Jo

jterrilynn is a genius! :) I just now noticed she completed my railing on the octagon - lol!! Love it! You ALL have such a great eye - you have helped us leaps and bounds. My husband and I like the black posts. He and I are divided however on the lower level fascia under the deck. I am liking the house color as a tie-in to the rest of the structure with the brown fascia a close second. He likes it black. Hmmmm.... we have a few days to think about it before the painter returns. If anyone has more to weigh in on, feel free :)

You currently have muddy mid toned walls, muddy slightly darker couch and lighter flooring. You brought in two richer brown chairs and two muddy yellow green chairs and have one huge bold deep teal blue column. This column is a beautiful architectural feature that can be used to add pizzazz and drama to the room, but it shouldn't be an emerald necklace matched with a pair of khakis and a tan t shirt. My fear is that you will paint it the same color as the walls and drown in a sea of mud. You need color, but maybe the color needs to be less brilliant and needs to be carried throughout the room. With something as large as your column you will need some large objects with color on the opposing wall. Window treatments, wall art, huge vase or sculpture, you need the color to be incorporated in an area carpet. The decision making process has to start with the feeling you want the room to convey. The next decision is what colors enhance that feeling. Third is selection of the color.

Personally I would make the porch ceiling a light blue. Otherwise I would go with the cream. Having strong whites next to cream just enhances the creaminess of the cream and can make it feel yellowed or dingy. All about contrast and comparison. Our brains see the combinations, not the individual colors.
