Lighting Design Dilemma Kitchens

Open concept lighting combination

What lighting fixture combination would you suggest for this design? I'm looking to add something over the island, over the dining table and possibly in the living room? I've attached some styles I like but unsure of how to combine any of them in a cohesive way or if they match the design. Not married to that style though, any thoughts are appreciated. Knobs/handles and faucet in kitchen will be gold.

The elaborate crystal chandelier over the dining table belongs to an entirely different design style an mood than the circular LED you show in the living room. It's traditional vs. modern and ornate vs. simple, so they are fighting on multiple different levels. Given what the rest of the decor looks like, I would go more modern/simple across the board. The second chandelier you show is a modern interpretation of a traditional form (with simple lines) and I think could probably work with the circle chandelier.

I've got "One of these things is not like the other" from Sesame Street running through my head. One of these things doesn't belong.

No adult ever enjoys sitting on a bench. They're difficult to get in and out of and not very comfortable. Having said that, if you want one then go ahead and get one. Your family will be the ones eating there so make the right decision based on your needs.

@ RL - very good points re: cleaning. @groveraxle - goodness, I love your candor. Here's the thing. Those are knock-off Beat pendants and they're served me over the last 5 years but I'm ready for an update. They are also very low wattage so provide very little down lighting. I'm also SUPER fussy about finishes matching, and I'm doing chrome faucets and pulls. I don't like brushed + chrome look lol. I'm picky-picky. We have vaulted 16+ foot ceilings and the space feels large at over 20 feet long (even though the island breaks up the middle), I really feel like we need pendants over the island to break up the space. But I am definitely going to hold off on the pendants over the eating bar. @Patricia Colwell - i love that look but probably for another room. Thank you so much everyone!

When does one buy lights? Have open concept LR DR kitchen and entrance hallway. Kitchen cabs not getting installed till end of summer. Am thinking lights should be tied up together by some concept, right? How does one goes about tying all elements together? I know i want to follow simple scandinavian design with clean elegant lines at modest to moderate prices. I am looking to replace entrance hall lights and I need 2 of them. Not sure how to go mixing and matching other lights though... Any suggestions? There is no rugs or furniture or floors yet. I am not buying furniture until floor is installed and not getting floor in until kitchen cabs in. I think the first most helpful thing would be for you to have an overall plan for the best cohesive and unified look.
