Comments (10)This was a great idea for a wall hanging! Your color choices are really good and I love the flowers on this. Nice to have a simple pattern that goes together fast, and looks like you spent days working on it! Nice job!!!...See MorePrivacy vinyl fence (wall topper)
Comments (6)The longer I do this the more I appreciate how risk averse engineers are. I don't love either solution presented. Segmental walls are designed to allow movement; concrete isn't. The second one, I think would have to be far enough back from the wall that there's no effect on the wall OR the 12" gravel drainage chimney from post movement. I know they make products specifically for fence or railing installs in segmental walls. This one looks interesting: https://www.geogrid.com/en-us/products/sleeve-it-system Essentially the post base is integrated with the geo grid. I haven't used it, but it makes sense as it takes advantage of the cantilever effect of a grid pull. It also looks like WAY less labor than the two ideas presented, because there's no additional digging or drilling. You just set it as your backfilling and pulling grid....See MoreCreating privacy over multiple windows/door on one wall
Comments (4)The soffit on the left side may interfere with using a rod to properly hang curtains on any of your windows. Have you considered inside mounted Romans or other shades? Is sun an issue? Don't see a privacy problem with the fence blocking the neighbor's view....See MoreDesign and privacy for long wall
Comments (8)What do you mean by redoing the wall. Usually townhomes are condos and subjest to approval for anything you do on the outside so check about that first. I did not read the other posts but in Houzz's wisdom it is now not possible to delete your own post ever after the 1 st hour. So I am just working on this post. So I will need answers to if this thing you are palnning has permission. Waht do you mean by the swing set will go behind the wall maybe you need to post more pics of the space that is actually yours ....See MorePatricia Colwell Consulting
