Is the fifth estimate from Hoffacker, which I think I suggested earlier? Their price on the Evolution system is fair for being a top-end system, and I assume it does not include the tax credit. Did it qualify for a Bryant rebate? I assume the Lennox complete setup qualifies for the tax credit as well. I believe you said this quote was from Hottel. It is a nice system, and I suggest having them include a thermostat that can control humidity in the house at no charge to compete against the Bryant if you go this route. I am confused why the Carrier quote would be less expensive with a 95% furnace, or did I misread that? I'm not opposed to the 80% furnace idea since you're in a townhome and townhomes typically don't require much heat (especially if you have two units on either side -- do you?). Plus, venting would pose an issue most likely. Did the companies look at your ductwork and evaluate it prior to proposing the new systems? If you plan on living in the home for another 10-15 years, and you can now get the additional furnace as part of a complete, new matched system with a good warranty for $2000-$2500, then it's certainly worth considering. However, the other argument is that you could see another 10 years out of the Lennox furnace (or could not). I assume the Lennox furnace has been reliable so far in the past. I agree with the XC14-030 and matching coil as a replacement if you do elect to keep the furnace. It's a tough call. If you did go with the full replacement, I'd pick the Bryant Evolution system. You were quoted their best outdoor unit. Make sure you get the CNPVP3617ATA tin-plated coil (ATA). If it's Hoffacker I'd be very surprised if they didn't plan on using this coil anyway. I think their sales rep that I was familiar with is no longer with them actually, and I didn't know this before recommending them. But, they are a good company and I'm sure you got another knowledgeable rep. Now I apologize for my small essay. :)

Just a little update.... Things are much better between my friend and her boyfriend. We've determined he was under a LOT of stress that week and it had to do with a lot more than just moving. They're working things out and getting along. I'm happy for them. I just know they have a ton to learn about each other because they seemed to not take the time to learn the little pidly stuff you pick up about each other while dating and things. I don't know if they ever just chat about crap like my fiance' and I do or not. I also have to say that the suggestion of HelenofMichigan would not have helped. I've gotten to the point in my life where I know telling someone what to do, especially during a major life changing event like this, will do me no good. This same friend's mother used to ask why on earth I couldn't convince her daughter to leave this guy (she never gave him a chance). The answer is, it's her life, I'm just here to be there for her when she needs someone to lean on and to answer questions if I can. I can't MAKE her do anything! She will learn on her own. She's very headstrong about things and me telling her to run back home would probably have cause major problems with our friendship and we're trying to patch over some stuff that happened before. People learn lessons by doing in most cases. I've been telling her all along while people are trying to break her and this guy up that if they were meant to be together, they will be. If something happens and they decide it's not working she will understand and be able to move on a lot easier than just because she did something because someone told her to. I wish them the best of luck really and I see some major improvements on both they're part that I didn't see months ago. ~Leslie~

Golddust -Thanks for responding! The mirror is 56" across and the vanity is 60", so the mirror should be adequate coverage for each sink. You brought up a good point about the styles being different and after seeing them together on my computer screen alongside the vanity I think I prefer the lines of the medicine cabinet complimenting those of the vanity. I guess if I had a vanity with more curves and curvy legs then the mirror would look better (which is what I would have liked). I hadn't considered the Cartwright cabs in espresso until you just mentioned it. Threedgrad: Thanks. As stated in my response to golddust that's what I'm also concluding.
