It helps if you say she is standing behind a retaining wall, A waist high wall

The wall is the same colour of the pathway. Look at the shadows and it makes it easier to see.

Could only see it once I enlarged it.

WRT Annie's opening post, we told our then small DD that if we ever needed to send someone else to collect her, even if it was someone she knew, they would say, "[Cat's Name] sent me to get you," so she would know they were legit.
