Comments (4)i feel your pain. last year i had serious vole problems.. between the voles and the dogs digging for them, i lost60 plants.. my garden is only 30x30 but i plant heavy knowing the hazards.. this year, i planted about 4 weeks ago. has been raining like crazy here in northern california and the water just stop leaching out of the ground long enough for me to plant. then, it has rained 7 of the last 10 days. poor plants are drowning. havent grown an inch. finally sunshine/clouds today. saw a lot of new growth ready to take off as i was brushing all the mud off the leaves from the last inch of rain yesterday. my zen is increasing.. :)...See MoreFloof! It's not convenient for me and I'd never delay others to do so. If I have a loaded shopping cart and someone comes into the line behind me with a few things, I allow them to go ahead of me. Just as I like when people do that for me. You'll never meet anyone who tries to be more considerate to and respectful of others in public than I. Sadly, there are too many who forget the Golden Rule when out in public. A simple example of this, remember that thought when looking for a parking spot and you encounter unusable spots because of cars parked crooked or large trucks parked in spots intended for compact cars or even intended for regular size cars that the truck doesn't fit in....See MoreFloof! Comments (26)I drink coffee during the day and tea time is right after dinner, after the dishes are done. Before our cat died in August he would share tea time with me. He would sit in the middle of the family room floor and wait for me to finish the dishes. When I put the kettle on to boil he would move a little closer and watch. I would get out my 2 cookies (Peek Freans Lifestyle Cranberry Crunch) make my tea (Sleepytime Vanilla) and go and sit in "our" big comfy chair. He would wait for me to open my book, climb on my lap and we would have teatime and reading time together. I miss our time....See Moreamylou321
