LVP to match Bona Nordic Seal on white oak

I just had the white oak hardwood floors in my home refinished with Bona Nordic Seal. It looks great. I want to put an LVP in my kitchen that matches. I used Inhaus Elandura LVP Sutter in my upstairs that matches great but I've read mixed reviews on the product. Any other suggestions for an LVP that would match the color of Bona NordicSeal on white oak?

How are you liking the elandura so far? I’m trying to see if anyone has had the same problem with the floor that I am currently having. I had it installed throughout my entire house a little over a year ago. The salesman really sold me on the pvc free aspect. There were no reviews that I could find as I believe it was a new product at the time. However, if I could go back in time, I would have never installed these floors. The product (well what I received) is defective. I am waiting on response from customer service. Let me know if you have had any issues.

Carly, please provide source for your floors, exactly what I’m looking for. Also thank you for post and thank you too other posters. I had just had floors done by a floor shop, two years of hospice requires me to redo them, seems a layer can be scraped up with a spackle scraper easily and turned dark ( like cherry wood does in sunlight but this was white oak ). So due to budget going to have to give this a go on my own. These posts priceless. After seeing this post and refinishing parents floor, I want your oak in my house … you did fantastic job.

We didn't move in yet so I cannot comment on it 🤷. You might want to do some reading regarding matt finish. Some people complain that is hard to live with finish, because for example foot marks while walking barefoot. I think they are some discussions on houzz regarding that

Agree with Verbo, you won’t get a match with different woods. White oak is more “neutral” while red oak is pink/orange. The best plan would be to find white oak treads. You could try bleaching the red oak, but that would also be tough to match. Since you already own the red oak, I would give it a try. I would suggest finding a flooring contractor who is experienced doing this.

The floors never look clean. There is a permanent film on the surface that is seen when the light hits the floor. Also, the top layer scratches easily. You will need felt protectors on every piece of furniture.

Interesting. The whole reason we are getting them is that they are supposed to be more resilient than wood?!

I think in general it is suppose to be more resilient than wood, but it doesnt hold up to the standards that were advertised. It is water proof though and looks good from afar (when the light doesn’t hit it). —I have family who went the floor & decor route and got a non pvc product that is beautiful. It looks like real hardwood with the grooves and everything and no problems so far. I would have done that if I would have known.
