3d glasses for 3d books

I bought a beautiful 3d book for my grands and it comes with those standard cardborad 3d glass that are red on one side and blue on the other. The book is fabulous! But those cardboard glasses are hard to keep in position very well.

I was looking for maybe a couple of pairs of little better ones with a plastic frames that would be more comfortable. Besides, we all know how long those little glasses last, right?

Anyone buy glasses to replace these kind that come in kids books? I know that these are called anaglyph glasses and have red on the left and blue or cyan on the right.

I found, at the used book store for $1.50 this most wonderful 3d book of pets! And, both ot the oriiginal littel cardboard glasses are there and it is like new. Beautiful book!

Besides the kids will lose the glasses, I was also hoping to find something that was more stable on the face.

I see there are a number on Amazon, but they dont say much about them being good to replace the cheap ones in these books. They seem to be for watching video. You think they are the same? They are still anaglyph glasses.

Of course, I can find another bundle of cheap cardboard ones pretty easily that look like the ones that it came with.

I guess I could buy some kids sunglasses, take out the lens and just use the frame to kind of mount the cardboard one onto the sunglasses frame, maybe a few drops of glue. that way it would be more stable..

Really, this book is amazing. I think the author are a husband wife, Rothstiein. 3d Pets. What a bargain. It will have you reaching out to pet the critters. But, the glasses are awkward, as all of those little cardboard glasses are.
