Beware of mail order scam - House of Wesley
Comments (36)This thread has saved us a lot of money. BUT I want to brag on , Little Honey Oakleaf Hydrangea Bush - Bright Gold Foliage - 4" Pot MSRP: $17.99 $9.99 (You save $8.00 ) The plant came in in good form, multiple limbs, new growth & what plant they sold me. $9.00 a lot of money, but I found the same plant in 4 in pot for &28.00 & that was the cheaper price. One gallon for for $54.00. Anyway this was the first order, but not the last & I have this plant now, two cheaper than one at other place. It was on sale. https://hirts.com/little-honey-oakleaf-hydrangea-bush-bright-gold-foliage-4-pot/...See MoreScam, or no scam?
Comments (5)The average person knows the name Freon, not R-22 or R-410A, so they use it. It's not really a scam or bait and switch. It's offering something "free" that you may or may not need if your system needs repair. You can be sure their prices will cover their refrigerant costs, so it's probably no deal in the end....See MoreAJ Madison: Scam company or legit wholesaler?
Comments (5)Bad experience with these guys, won’t use them again. We purchased an appliance (induction range) and found out before delivery that it wouldn’t work in our apartment. My bad for not understanding this in advance, or for seeing the fine print about the 35% (!) restocking fee hit for canceling the order. But they wouldn’t even work with us to apply a reasonable share of the price we paid to purchase another product from them instead. Just basically told us we’re out of luck. Absolutely their right, and fully disclosed, but seems like really bad business to lose a customer through zero flexibility and understanding. Obviously won’t buy anything from them in the future. Learn the lesson from me: do all your homework, double-check your measurements and installation requirements, and check with your building superintendent before you buy a new appliance. Otherwise, at least with these guys, it will be costly and they will take your money and won’t try to help you out in any way. Thanks for nothing AJ Madison....See MoreSCAM Appliance Connection is a RIP OFF company
Comments (7)I'm just one customer but I ordered a range and washing machine from Appliances Connection (appliancesconnection.com) at different times and didn't have problems though I did need to change my range order from one model to another due to unavailabililty. Appliances Connection does, indeed, have radiant electric ranges that start at $548 (Amana AER6303MMS) and coil ranges that are even less. That linked range price includes delivery. The website includes the ability to track a purchase and the Return Policy states that there is a per-pound charge for returns which could be a lot as ranges are heavy; the linked Amana radiant range weighs 152 lbs. Was delivery attempted? It doesn't appear so. What does the purchase tracking say? What did the AC rep say? If it wasn't, AC should redeliver for free. Don't return the appliance. It'll just cost you....See Moreyeonassky
