The kitchen is the ideal place to go bold with color choice as there is very little wall to paint. Your cabinets, which are neutral in oak, are the main color in the room, your tile is also neutral, so your walls are the accent color. Don't be afraid to go crazy here! Golden honey sounds pretty. Go for it! I have a small paint shop and most customers buy food colors for their kitchen: red, orange, green or gold. And occasionally dark chocolate!

Thanks for all your input! To clarify when I said darker I meant darker than white, Bruxton white BM is darker than White Dove, its the darker shade I painted on back splash as sample. The color for the island is not blue, bad photo. Paint swatch is KendalL Charcoal HC-166, Amherst Gray HC-167 and Chelsea Gray-HC-168. I am currently leaning toward BM Stone Harbor 2111-50 or Gray Huskie AC-26 for perimeter cabinets, light subway backsplash and dark gray of one listed on island. Agree , no gray floor, Jacobean or walnut I need weight in room, as cabinets surround entire kitchen. I attached some inspiration photos. Not concerned about trendy as long as I am happy, its paint. Here is current kitchen status post rib fest mess, and paint swatches everywhere. It is basically a U shape open to family room. Obviously all walls are being repainted and light fixtures will get changed out.

I assume you’re getting Samplize paint swatches or something similar to try in various parts of your kitchen and next to your floor and countertops. You’ve chosen cool gray colors do likely you’ll need a cool green, gray- green and will likely eliminate warm greens. For example, I like Billiard as a green for me because of how it’s a yellow - green and looks good with warm woods. But probably is not your green with that flooring. Some of the other greens are quite dark , kind of blackened, so see if they are too dark or instead give a good crisp look.

what is the board ..this shows similar with trim across the top of the board. You could complete the details in similar fashion with low cost from a trim carpenter. Hard to say about a color scheme as not much of kitchen is shown..... Is it retro ? do you have good light?? I might paint the board and trim a white..and paint the walls a pale robins egg blue. I think the space might be a bit retro and I think white and blue work w the blond cabinets but not much is shown. Color can do a lot when you arent doing many other things. here is board like yours [ I think] with trim across the top...if you did that and painted it white it could be nice. pretty blue wall shown...get your ""board" and some trim in white ...... nice with your light wood cabinets I think.....[ note the blue sky out your kitchen window...how pretty...answers are close at hand sometimes ]
