No way to give meaningful advice without a picture of your house. Showing us just the garage doors isn’t going to help us help you make them part of a cohesive whole.

What is that siding, is it paintable? Just need to de-emphasize the contrast between the siding and the brick, and the garage door, and you could do that without painting every surface. Ex; get the siding to be more of a midtone, griege.... maybe pulling a color from the brick. When you say you got a quote to paint only the front.... I don't understand that, cant people walking or driving by see the sides of your house? Having only one side painted imho is not an improvement, in fact the opposite.

I mean the back and sides is entirely that siding no trim or anything just solid siding. The masonry on the front is literally only on the front, you can see maybe two or three inches of the brick from the side. The color of siding isn’t terrible in my opinion but everything all together really clashes so I definitely agree with you on de-emphasizing the siding above the garage. I think I’d love to add some texture with shake I just don’t know how to tie everything together.

What about a coat of paint in a nice rich Charcoal Gray?

In this concept rendering, just the brick and the siding get painted Charcoal.

The front door is yellow.

The eaves, fascia, garage doors, stone, and shutters remain untouched.

If you really want cohesive, paint the siding and garage doors the same. Why would you want to highlight the garage doors with a different color? Your property looks like a garage-with-an-attached-house.

I would leave the brick. It looks nice. Paint the siding, and the garage doors, so you get a more cohesive look. Pick a color from the brick, that also goes with your brownish color roof.

Your siding is a warm beige, your garage doors are a cool beige, and your driveway (yes, a “feature!”) is a warm beige. I would try and color match your siding and paint your garage doors that color. Then…I would work on adding color to your home through new lighting, street numbers, planters, and landscaping. In other words…DON’T paint your brick or add more detail to your home with shake shingles, etc. Save your money and spend it on unifying the colors. THEN splurge on landscaping that will draw attention to your yard and front door. Pull the sidewalk out further from your garage. Add a small ornamental tree to the right side of your home. You might consider a trellis over the larger garage door on the right. And a bright colored front door to draw people into your home.

I would not paint that lovely brick. To me, the hodgepodge effect comes from two different shades of tan on the garage. The yellowish tan doesn't seem to go with either the brick or the garage doors. I'd find a color that goes with the brick for the siding. If you want the garage doors a different color, go with a few shades lighter or darker of the same color. The way you get lighter is you tell the guy who mixes the paint to add less pigment.

Use the trim color for the siding and garage doors

I like Beverly’s idea. Beverly, what would you do for the front door? Just curious.

A lighter version of this turquoise harmonizes very well with dark taupe suggestions houssan and Beverly made. You can further draw the eye to the entrance with light turquoise chairs and bistro table for sorting mail, watching kids, visiting with a neighbor. Or bright seasonal plant pots.

Spend your budget on a beautiful professionally designed front garden to enjoy from your entryway.

Beautiful thank you for the advice! I think we are going to do the darker taupe and revisit the entryway and landscaping like everyone has suggested.

I would remove or paint over the fake hinges and handles on the garage doors. They are too dinky to even suggest they might be functional.

I would also remove the shutters. The little bits and pieces contribute to the hodgepodge look.

I guess painting brick is a bit controversial, but I really like the charcoal painted brick and siding above.

If the siding is in good shape and you're considering painting simply to unify colors, you could redirect those funds toward different upgrades. Sans the pink garage doors which are clashing with everything, you may be able to make everything else work. The garage doors comprise more than half of your front elevation. Upgrading them to more a more handsome look and adding larger lighting fixtures and landscaping can add more dimension and interest than painting alone (except the front door which is reading a little too bright as it is now.)

Wow, that makes a huge difference JT7 - overall look is much classier than the "gray, gray, and more gray" color scheme. I still might be inclined to tone down the whitey beige siding - just a tad.

JT7- That looks amazing and is more in line with what I’m wanting. Thank you for your suggestions! Do you think it would work with a wood front door stained to match the garage doors? If I did tone down the beige siding would you happen to have any suggestions?

A stained front door with glass that echoes the shape of the windows in the new garage doors could look very nice.

Generally speaking, I’d stay pretty close to your current siding color so long as it coordinates with everything else. You have light stone details and a white window in the section to the right of the front door- be sure to take them into consideration too when selecting paint color. If that’s a vinyl window, you won’t be able to paint it and you’ll be left with a series of whiteish rectangles that may not relate to the rest of the exterior and will make that section stick out and look hodgepodge.

I wouldn’t let that one small window dictate your color choices.. choose a more cohesive color for the big siding section…and since the driveway is the biggest blank space… as it looks new.. I would stain it in a cohesive color… most concrete stains do absorb in a more interesting pattern of different tones .. so that won’t read as a big solid parking lot

Aaaand if the big space above the garage is still begging for some detail try a pattern with wood trim or a wide (12”?) wood strip to cover the slight arch over the door… which IMO looks more like a mistake than a striking detail
