Paint Design Dilemma

Paint Advice needed!

New kitchen cabinets installed and they are called Dove by the manufacturer. I've been having a lot of trouble choosing a paint color for the open kitchen/family room. What appeals to my eye in the tones I prefer seem to be fighting the cabinets. Many look too purple/taupe.

I love the brown/greige tones over greys.

I just went and had the doors color matched at Sherwin Williams and they told me their closest match of the cab color is Nacre (a classic pearl white w green undertone).

What would be some suggestions to pair well? I really don't want golden tones which is what SW suggests on the site to pair w Rice Paper or something like that.

I'm liking Accessible Beige but fear it being too dark for our low light house. Edgecomb gray might be lighter? Not sure about the undertones of that one.

Do I find a paint w a green undertone since that's what the cab color has? I forget how that works.

Thanks for any guidance.

Need photos of the cabinets to help, including your counters. One manufacturer's "Dove" could be quite different from another.

Paint color last choice along with backspalsh in a litchen . What are your counters , flooring all have a say in the wall color and backsplash. If you want help here we at least need to see the space or th choices. I always stress that the lighting needs to be LED 4000K before choosing any color for anything.

Classic Gray’s undertone is a brown. It probably is the natural light which is interfering with the color…from what direction does the natural light come? If it from the North, that could be what is making the gray look blue.

Gray is definitely a hard colour to work with. It's either too brown, too green, too mauve or too blue. I tried 6 different shades of gray before I finally settled on Coventry Gray and Stonington gray by BM. After the first coat of Coventry GrayI was unsure. It looked too blue?? After the second coat I was falling in love LOL!! I used Coventry gray for accent walls and Stonington Gray on walls with less light. You can barely tell that I used two different shades which is what I wanted. The colours are amazing! Everyone that walks in can't believe the transition. I would suggest you buy a sample jar (I used Behr paint) and paint a good size on a few of the walls to see how the lighting hits it. I'll send you a photo, if I can figure it out HAHA!! I looked at your colour choices and they all look beautiful on the swatches, but beware of how it will look on the wall.

Wow cornstalk is a bold choice very golden yellow. Cornstalk Bit of sugar Hillside Grove With your dark black furniture I would go light with Bit of Sugar... ..maybe add roman shades with a nice green print like the Hillside Grove..green and black is a nice combination.

My neighbors have a house they painted charcoal. They have tried a number of different front door colors - pale yellow (definitely not a good choice), turquoise (not my taste, but it wasn’t a painful mismatch). My favorite was a dark red that leaned toward orange rather than blue on the color spectrum. It popped and picked up some of the colors in their brick chimney. Perhaps that would work for you. Currently, their door is a paler shade of the charcoal, which makes the house seem very monotone. I suppose the main lesson from them is that the front door isn’t a big area, so if you don’t like it, you can try again.

ooh yes sorry - I'll try and upload but right now everythings covered due to painters prepping things and doing the trim in SW Pure White. Counters are Taj Mahal and it's not a yellowy one just a pretty light brown. Wood floors I'll try and find a photo online.

Here's a sample pic from the manufacturer of Dove but they have a huge skylight.
