A good recipe from Joanne Gallagher of Inspired Taste. I was leery of using five teaspoons of baking powder in a single batch of biscuits, fearing they might have a metallic taste, but I followed her recipe exactly (and used Bob’s Red Mill baking powder with no aluminium) and they rose beautifully. I am always on the lookout for a newer, better, or quicker recipe for biscuits and these did not disappoint. Where the recipe says milk or buttermilk I used the latter.
