Try removing the throw pillows for a week to see if they are really needed. If you do actually use them, try some reddish pillow covers from the reddish color in the rug.

@decoenthusiaste we‘d love to get a roman or cellular (1/2 up, 1/2 down) shade on that window but it’s 140 inches so every company that we spoke to (Costco, select blinds, 3 day blinds) told us no can do… The only option its to buy 2 or shades instead of one. 😌 Even with roman shades, this particular bedroom would still need need some sheers because this room gets a ton of sunlight in the morning and you can see directly into it from the street at all times. 😌😌

It is SO GREAT getting all these extra suggestions! 😁 Having a better idea of exactly what fits is definitely going to help when I pick the black piano; I might look for one a little smaller actually. And yes, I really like the look of the baby grand piano...particularly from the front/keys side 😉 I tried option 1 this afternoon, basically just moved the piano and couch into positions, but to me, it didn't work right. Piano can't be pushed close enough to the wall/corner (bc of bench and angle with window) so it almost sits in the center of the room. Piano seems much bigger in that position and makes the room feel much smaller. Didn't like it. I'm probably gonna go with option 3. Just a matter of filling in the rest of the space correctly. Did we determine if a set of taller, narrow chairs would fit in the bay?? I will not be using that turquoise patterned chair, or the floor lamp. I don't want to cram too much into the space but I definitely need to add to the room! I'm leaning towards adding curtains to frame the whole bay window (like photo decorenthusiast ). Would you suggest picking a rug or the curtains first? Or does it not really matter? I'll post some when I find a couple I like, would love your feedback!
