Another paint or don't paint question...
Comments (4)You have me convinced. It has a few scratches but I bought it because it had great character and lines. Looking at the picture of my room in the last house reminded me of how nice the wood did look with the creamy neutrals. I bought some picture frames today and had a few photos printed and thought they would look really nice on a white dresser but they will probably look very good on a wood one too. Thank you all very much....See MoreYet another "pinky beige" paint question
Comments (17)I'm tending to agree, pal....right now everything looks somewhat 'washed out' and while this is a basement with almost exclusively artificial lighting...i lean toward doing something with more colour saturation it is EXTREMELY DARK down there without all the lights on, even during the day, so I don't think any high rated light value rating (thank you funcolors for that VERY informative piece) would do much to increase the 'lightness' of the room the other interesting tidbit here is the HUGE difference between LED and Halogen....i used an LED (2700 i believe) in the hallway leading to the finished basement and i think it brings out the 'pink' even though in photographs it's the exact opposite! the halogen tends to bring out the 'sandy' colors in the tile... i was hoping to switch out all of the lighting to LED but i'm not sure that would enhance the tile i've included a close up of the tile and the wall unit but i don't think it is much better than the original pic of the tile i posted...that pic is the closest rendering of the tile as it appears in 3D...See Morefacebook question! yes, another one! lol
Comments (4)It's not usually sent to them in an email or anything, but they can see that you've posted new pictures. If they have their facebook open, on the page where it shows what all your friends are doing, it will say, "Kat has posted new pictures", and then they can click on it to see. If you post it directly into your Wall and not into your albums, the picture will just show up automatically on their News Feed. Do you agree with me about that? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...See MoreI'm back with another question- this time about paint!
Comments (4)It's hard to say. Do your tiles look that pinkish in real life? I'd read this here: http://www.mariakillam.com/vancouver-colour-consultant-how-to-choose-the-right-beige/ and As well as her other advice, e.g. on gray....See Moremojavemaria
