Backsplash for white cabinets and white quartz

Hi! I would love your help with finishing my kitchen backsplash. I have white shaker cabinets and white quartz counter tops. For the backsplash I want to add a little design or color but nothing overwhelming. I’ll add some pictures of samples I have liked so far.

Comments (16)I'm with Daisychain - just say no to 3 stones in one kitchen. Alaska White is a beautiful granite. It will be the star. Both of the backsplash tiles you pictured would be wrong. The one on the right because it is busy, and also a dated look. The one on the left cause it would be stone #3 in your kitchen, and because its veining going in different directions with each tile will not go with your granite. I recommend a quiet cream subway backsplash. Not only will go, but also is a classic. Not everything in your kitchen needs to be splashy and statement-y. Comments (6)I agree with TCK, but it can be done. I have Silestone Lagoon and Miram Blanc marble tile from The Tile Shop and it looks great. Also no grease issues that some warn about with marble. My tile looks the same...going on 5 or 6 years now. I think I did the kitchen around 2012 or 13. I like Lagoon a lot better than Lyra personally. And Lagoon isn't too white...actually has a bit of gray to it....See Morebacksplash thoughts

it will create a ledge when you add the tile backsplash.
I woudld choose something with a bit more shimmer and shine. your options look too flat, not much of an accent. How about a mosaic marble?
