No, it won't look good. At all. It will appear a very dirty white. Your eye sees white and every other color as well...... by comparison.

Show the existing kitchen you are refreshing. Take pictures, post in a comment box below, and take them from all angles possible.

This is the current kitchen. the only things staying for now are the appliances.

The last picture shows our cabinet sample - a stained maple. Shaker style to the ceiling.

The rest of the house is brown tones due to the medium brown trim, so trying to keep things warm/soft.

Is there a different white quartz with subtle veining that would go well with white appliances and wood cabinets?

The only thing staying are appliances. I understand resources. Nothing but a more definite color will look good until an appliance change to stainless.

I'd be inclined to consider a honed black granite........save white for your backsplash only.

And You should post the entire cabinet plan. Not the pretty elevation.......the one with all the dimensions : )

It won't look horrible. But it won't be awesome either. If you want to stay with a light countertop, either choose something that reads a lot closer to pure white, or plan to replace your appliances with stainless (the replacement doesn't have to be instant. But if you delay, you'll have an ugly duckling stage to your remodel).

Gotta agree stainless appliances would be best (actually, great) if you’re set on that quartz. The starkness of appliance white can often be tricky since, as Jan posted, it can make other (nice) whites appear dingy.
