Design my small condo living space! (exposed brick & wood)
Comments (18)Sit down dinners for eight? Well, you will certainly be hanging your capacious cookware from that potrack! The dimensions of the room don't allow for a dining table the size needed for eight people to be up all the time, but there are a few ways around that. One is a console table that when folded has a small silhouette and functions as a sofa table that you put behind the sofa table to hold a lamp, your remotes, a drink, etc. When you need it, it expands, and expands, and expands! With that you can use collapsible folding chairs and there are some very nice ones, including wood ones that you can store under your bed, along with the very long tablecloths. In fact, there is an article about just that sort of table on Houzz. Then you may or may decide to not get a small table for two or as you initially thought, just get two bar stools. To seat 8 people, tables of these configurations should be of these dimensions: Round: 60 - 66 " diameter Rectangle: 8 feet long...See MoreNeed Help - Exterior Trim and Door Color on Red Brick House
Comments (39)If anyone can help I would be grateful! I really need to make a decision this weekend if possible. I know I need to do samples but would appreciate any direction on which SW whites to look at. I want it to be soft and warm/inviting and wouldn't even mind a cream if I can find on that still looks like a creamy white rather than yellow. Thoughts? Would SW Creamy work or go too yellow?...See MoreFantasy brown counter with SW Ancient Marble & Greek Villa Walls
Comments (4)You can't look at your paint samples flat on the counters ... you are never going to see the actual colors in that orientation. Paint some larger boards and place them vertically in front of the cabinets. You could actually fit a large piece of painted sheetrock in the spot your DW is going. That would give you are pretty accurate idea of how that color will look. It is going to look a lot darker and greener on the face of the lower cabinets, than it does sitting on the counter under the window....See MorePaint suggestions needed! Beach facing condo
Comments (0)Hello! Suggestions needed! We have a long tube shaped condo that only has natural light coming in from the beach facing patio (west). The living room is dark as there are no windows except for what faces the water as a result the room naturally has a golden glow. We have selected griege flooring tiles throughout. I do not like the yellow glow the room can take on but don't want cool icy grey paint to counter it. Rather an ideal warm white (not yellow or gold) would be great with pure white trim on casings/moldings. Any suggestions? I have contemplated SW Greek Villa, Futon, Downy, White Flour, Alabaster, Snowbound- It is all too much! Would love for any and all suggestions! Thank you!...See Moretracefloyd
