I love my window boxes, hanging baskets and containers. Wherever I've lived, my gardens have always been solely perennials so this is my only real chance to splash out on showy annuals. I prefer to use traditional hayracks and wired bowls with either spaghnum moss or replaceable coco liners. My experience has been that plastic inserts may cause dampening off of the root systems - interior trays on the bottom though do help to reduce runoff. Moisture-retentive soil crystals and slow-release fertilizers granules added to the mix at time of planting makes ongoing maintenance a real breeze. Even at the height of summer, I don't usually worry if I miss a day (or even two) of watering :) I've shown some of these photos before...

Hi, I built Conestoga for my kitchen in 2006. I used plain inset uppers and full-overlay bases. The boxes are exactly the same irrespective of the door-fitting style. I used normal Euro-style 35mm hinges on the bases, and old-fashion loose-pin full-mortise hinges on the uppers. There are butt hinges sold that do not require the mortising, which is extremely exacting and time consuming. The surface-type butt hinges are also adjustable. I would recommend the average DIY-er on a schedule to use that more forgiving type. The no-mortise ones are also found cheaper, my butt hinges were $22/pr. Thank you Joseph but they are owned by Top Zero here no? I ask because they have a local website/company here that replaces sinks. I will call this company you referred and I appreciate it very much! And in response to the other guy: NO TOP ZERO WAS THE ONE THAT PUT THIS GLUE OVER THE EDGE OF THE SINK so keep posting photos, it's not what TZ actually did in our kitchen. Also, try getting an actual answer from TZ they change their story. I have save every single email from them prior to buying and if they are not going to help I will have my information documented if I need to go that far. Top Zero has been horrendous - as I said THEY initially told us they did not install their sinks unless we were removing an old one. When we had the initial issues of cracking we asked for the owner and our countertop installers to meet in person to see if in fact it was the installers issues. At that time, TZ came out with their own tech and he refused to continue to work on Corian. He did a small section, said it was the disposal and put in brackets. Fast forward, it is continuing to crack, and it could very well be an installation issue but UNLESS TOP ZERO CAN STAND HERE WITH OUR INSTALLERS AND TELL THEM, HEY YOU GUYS DID THIS WRONG, we cannot do much. If I call Replace my Sink, they are affiliated with TZ and I should NOT have to pay a dime. Had TZ come out like professionals, tell our installers they were wrong, then they can pay for this mess. I am so livid i would NEVER recommend this to anyone. I contacted both paries PRIOR TO BUYING THIS sink, and no one ever did the right thing. TZ never provided us with the spacers needed for a 1/2" countertop, nor did they come out and just simply state "your installers did this wrong because of a, b, c " this has been hell.

@lucianob2022 My BN is very healthy but it would be best to check nurseries or rose societies in your area to be safe. I have grown BN as a gorgeous, medium large, free standing shrub. It could just be deadheaded (it’s a bloom machine) and pruned annually for shape and size. It’s not a big Noisette. Definitely shrubby, even as a climber. Carol
