Mtnrd...you were in my dream last night...

...or rather I was doing the invading...of your home that is.

So strange.

Somehow we went to your home in ME...though the house looked more like your other place in that it was a rambling thing. We showed up unannounced and you were just arriving with some other people...clearly unhappy to see us. But I figured that. And I was trying to justify it in my own mind as I'd said on the forum how we'd be in your area that day and you'd probably put 2+2 together. You said you would be leaving to take your guests to the mushroom show soon, and I said we only wanted to stop by for a bit, if you didn't mind if we stayed after everyone left. So we end up in your house which is somehow connected to a small mall area where there was a coffee shop. So we're trying to find our way through a maze of halls and rooms, up and down stairs to the coffee shop, and by this time the place is full of guests so we're visiting with the guests as we're wandering around ... one area was like an indoor underground garden with stone pavers on gravel and a fountain and plants and such and skylights overhead. So I manage to find my way to the bathroom which was your son's...and it had a note on the john to him about how to properly flush it as it was in the lower level...the room was all tiled in peacock blue mosaic. And as I'm finding my way into the bathroom, I hear another guest say, "Oh here's the bathroom" and it was another one in the room next door. When I came out of the room, one guest sort of questioned me sharply to make sure I'd flushed it properly! I assured her I had. Then somehow we were back upstairs and outdoors on a covered patio area with a large round bar-height table on which were a stack of books by a designer named something like Garth Brooks. And you mentioned to the group of people who were milling around in that area that your family loved his design and you were going to have a lecture starting soon on his design aesthetic.

Then I woke up! How weird was that!

As I think about it now, the warren of rooms, up an down, kind of reminded me of the conservatory at the NY botanical garden....and with all the people milling about...

I often have house dreams with me exploring others homes too. I find they leave me feeling naughtily exotic.

I just looked and have 3 seeds left for the Devils Toothpick. If I remember right the crickets are still belching and farting from eating the plants that were outside. In the next week or so I'm hoping to get out and inventory the plants and get rid of the extras/doubles and see what I have growing then I can put the rest out. I've got almost all of my summer crop out there but I'm running out of room. Too many Manzanos are getting too big. The peppers are really liking the soil mix I'm using. If it still is ok when the 100 degree weeks start I'll have found the perfect mix for the way I grow my peppers. Only lost a dozen plants during the winter so I started out 150 or so plants ahead this year. Everything is looking like if I can keep the bugs at bay I'll have one of the better harvests I've had in a long time. Lots of buds and pods out there now. Re potted my Habanero tree(arbol)and it's as tall as the eves of the roof and filled with new branches.It's already 6+ ft. wide and 7-8ft. high.I'll need a ladder to pick pods again this year. I've got 3 more of them that want to do the same.Gotta find a home for 2 of them if I can. I wanted to mail them to people but it's too expensive. E mail me about what you have to trade and or what you are looking for. I'm up to 820 something varieties but don't have seeds for all of them to trade etc. If i can glue a few buds on each of my plants shut before they open I'll have a lot of seeds in mid summer and fall. I've got some rare stuff out there and if I can get the plants to put out the pods I'll be set up with seeds to spread around soon from the pods I have now. The Baccatums and Pubescens are really going off now.The Annuums are starting to bud too.

May each and every one of them recover from their injuries, physically, mentally, and emotionally. I also pray for your daughter who bravely went into hell all by herself to try to help other fellow human beings. Hi Kat So, what is your route? Highway 1, the pacific coast highway. Across the islands... I don't know yet. Have all winter long for planning. Do you know what month? Start in July, up in Vancouver. Want to got to Butchard Gardens! How many cyclists will be joining you? For sure, none. Possibly, 4. Maybe only one. I am going no matter what. :) Most likely will be my last LONG adventure. DH isn't to thrilled about them, and I might want to give up touring with all my stuff, and go to supported tours after this. That is funny. Honestly, I am impressed with how clearly you were able to report it.

I have had some bizarre dreams but usually after like 2 minutes of waking I can only remember the setting ,or a character in it, but not in any kind of detail as you have.

Odd I just recalled my dream, even though when I first read the post I didn’t remember dreaming. And yours can’t be right Annie because I wasn’t even in the country last night.

Our family took a flight - just us. But it was a very large jet. One side of the plane was all shower stalls. One of my kids didn’t close the shower curtain correctly and splashed water on my DH while he was sleeping. I had forgotten to distribute the printed, personalized packing lists (weather specific) that I always give my family and no one had things they needed so people had to borrow my deodorant after their (on board) showers.

We got to our location and went sight-seeing right away. We walked along a street that was all fancy boutiques, then turned the corner and “that side” was all locals. Charming. Hot and sunny. The road ended up at a farm with horses swimming in a pond. Farmers didn’t speak English and wore a lot of gold chains. Sense of danger.

They have that reality show called "Little People, Big World". They gave me a lift in their ATV or UTE vehicle whatever they're called, drive them around farms. Told me they "fired" my Mom and were sorry. lol
