How to secure door to this?

So the two pictures are the top and bottom of the door frame where the hinge attaches. As you can see they are pretty worn out, this is an old apartment, so the wood pretty beaten up, what can I use to secure the hinges to the door frame?

It looks like an old house where different hinges over the years were chiseled out as a DIYer, but the wood looks good. In older houses when it's a maintenance, not a remodel issue, I use the longer screw (even 4") method to get to the rough framing jack stud or even through it to the next one. Sometimes you have to fill holes - various YouTube videos on filler, dowel/toothpick method, etc. IIRC I may have even moved the hinges 1/2" up on the door/frame for a certain house.

Remove the door and existing frame and door jams, add new framing ,door jams and new door.

Yes but it is tricky since there are so many variations. Many companies make aftermarket hardware that fit other doors- Emtek is one. You may find it easier to find out who manufactured your doors and buy the hardware directly from them

I agree with A Mat: the hinge area has had so many screws in it that the best approach would be to start over with new jambs. The only alternative you might have is if there is substantial framing beneath the jambs and you use extra long screws that might be able to bite into wood that hasn't been drilled out.

Just be aware that simply using wood filler in those holes is not going to last; longer screws will if they have framing to bite into.

If there is no wood to bite into as @kudzu9 suggested, use the old trick in the book it works every time.

Drill a hole using a 1/4 or 3/8" drill bit. Get a dowel to fit, apply glue and drive into a hole, cut the projected end of the dowel flush with the jamb, and screw the hinge back on.
