OK -- didn't realize this was a zoning application. I would say that this could make sense. The panel will determine the demand CFM (airflow) based upon the zones calling and communicate this information to the TAM8. It may be that the zone panel itself then controls the ramp-up sequence (i.e., Comfort-R) of the air handler as well. Best way to test this and to see if it is set up properly is to have one zone call for cooling and see if it follows the expected ramp-up profile. Should be noticeable with very little airflow felt from the vents within the first minute of the call for cooling. However with a zoning application, it could also be that Comfort-R isn't an option and the demand airflow is entirely determined based upon zones calling. That would mean it is always at 100% of the demand CFM (whatever fraction of the total nominal CFM that may be) without Comfort-R. I wish I was familiar enough with the control logic of the new Trane modulating zone panel (assuming that's what was installed -- the Comfort Link II package) to give you a definitive yes/no to your questions. It doesn't sound like you got a clear response from your installers as to the operation of Comfort-R and the dehumidify features either, other than the zoning system takes care of it all. Is there anywhere for you to input a desired indoor humidity setting in the ComfortLink II thermostat? How about the individual zone controllers? When Comfort-R is enabled, it is active every cooling cycle regardless of whether the humidity set point is met). I take soy isoflavones twice a day - no night sweats - a few mild hot flashes, no problems with dryness - my skin is fine, now and then I get hot flashes - usually when nervous or stressed - never been on HRT's....really never considered it. I know many women suffer much more than I do...I do have problems sleeping, but always have and I rest when I need to....really menopause has not made a huge impact on my life - maybe a little dent once in a while but that is all. I do not want to be on any medication of any kind unless I absolutely have to....I had a bone scan earlier this year and I have no sign of or projections for osteoporosis. I'll just keep taking the soy - I'm 55 and have been in menopause for 5 years.

Coming late to the party I know but a few comments to ponder. The therapists at the hospital truly disliked the "roller" type walkers since they're a lot less safe and having used one and watching people use them now, I totally understand why they dislike them. I bought one off Craigslist for $35. It's a good, heavy unit, I believe it's a Nova, but would have to double check. I have the conventional walkers too (and of course canes) but seldom use the roller walker. I find it useful at the buffet. Can set the plate on the seat and do my thing then go sit down. It's nice to have the option to sit down when you're out. However the problems with them shouldn't be overlooked. First problem, people don't use them properly. I notice women especially refuse to put their hands on the brakes. The therapists' concerns and I can see it and feel it when I use it, if you aren't paying attention, and stumble the least little bit, the walker can easily roll away from you and you go down. A conventional walker doesn't have this issue unless you put 4 wheels on them. The second problem is when people use the brakes, they often don't use them correctly and wear them out which in itself isn't the big problem but people won't repair them. I looked at several roller type walkers and many were without brakes. That's downright dangerous. If you're having trouble getting through doors with a conventional walker then you'll have trouble with a roller type too, maybe moreso. And my roller walker is far heavier than any of my regular walkers. I like the standard one better because when you get into a tight place, you fold it and still have the wheels to use as sort of a roller cane, then flip it back out and go on your way. I have one that is a very heavy duty walker. It's extra wide and has dual wheels on each side. Yes, obviously it's heavier than the standard walker but not as heavy as the roller. I generally use the canes when I can. The back specialist and the ortho surgeon both prefer I use a walker (and not a roller). When I'm extra tired, I use the walker. I'd suggest you watch Freecycle or Craigslist and look for a deal on one if you really want to go with a roller. You might find a different style walker you like better and for the price you can try them out and donate or resell it/them if you don't like. Just be sure the brakes work right and that the unit is in good shape.

Austin Aire- yes I did state when the me was installed- it states ' 2008', although I was supposed to be typing 2009... just as I don't clean the filters with 'fish soap'. Dish soap... As far as the guys not knowing how to install ms... That company is also crooked or dumb. I suspect both. The main hvac was serviced by them prior to us buying this ' flipped' house. Main hvac did not work first time used (heat/January/central Florida). This company came out three consecutive days. First day it was a capacitor. Second day it was something else I don't remember AND a 'broken' thermostat $125 for thermostat alone! I found same exact the thermostat at Lowes for $40. Seriously. Third day it still did not work. I called a different company recommended by someone. THAT company found two parts in the outside unit that were present but not hooked up- a fan of some sort and something else. Took him about 6 seconds to find the problem. I was standing next to him. Also had too much coolant. The first company came out anyway after already told that the two prior days work was wrong. The second company showed the first how poor work/assessing skills. Second company actually wrote a short letter for me to send to first. Never heard from first. Did not have time/energy/emotions due to family impending death. It is not always the inexperienced hvac company- sometimes they are just crooked as well. Every type of company has these, sadly.
