I wonder if it's some kind of Synadenium/Euphorbia? If you remove a leaf, does white sap come out? Before you remove a leaf, put some newspaper, paper towel, or plastic on the floor underneath the spot where you will do it because if it is a Euphorbia, white latex sap will leak out for a few minutes and you don't want that on your floor. Also, don't get it on your skin because it could cause a rash, similar to poison ivy. Definitely don't get it in your eye.

That's a cute shelf but I believe both plants would appreciate a spot in more light. But if you discover white sap in your plant, don't put that one where people will bump into it. Euphorbias are interesting to look at, but that sap is no joke.

If there is no sap, I might wonder if it's some kind of Pilea.

There are a lot of Euphorbias so the search for a more specific ID can continue. Compare to grantii and tithymaloides, and there are probably other Euphorbia species I've never seen or heard of, a big genus. Your plant looks pretty healthy, but is stretched and leaning from low light, so it may not resemble pics you find.

At some point if you decide a stem is too long, you can cut it off and stick the removed part back in the pot, minding the sap like I know you will. :) The stuck piece should make roots and keep growing. New leaves should come out of the stump somewhere. No guarantees but this is what usually happens.

Yes, becaus I thought it a vine until just recently, when it actually started to grow!! I‘m seeing now it should not be up so high! haha…it vigerously takes to any propigation, thats for certian! Maybe I will transplant all the necky bits….come springtime!
