Our home has a nice little entry nook that fits a table or bench and it also has a mudroom attached to the garage (outlined in red on plan). We don’t park our car in the garage so we never come in that way and we come in the front door. So it’s a mess of shoes and coats. We have a coat closet a bit further back also. I’m trying to decide if we keep the entry formal and have a table with a spot to drop keys/mail, etc and put one coat and shoes behind the front door? Everything else goes in the mudroom and closet. Or do we have a built in coat and shoes unit built in that nook? These pictures are from the listing and at the moment the area is empty and has all been painted white.
