Comments (5)yes off and on all day, I don't know if they are working on it. It may have to do with the dreadful news of the Heartbleed bug. Many sites will be working to make sure they are patched and not vulnerable. The Heartbleed Bug Heartbleed: Why the Internet's Gaping Security Hole Is So Scary those that use yahoo, twitter, dropbox, tumblr etc. check your info. This is a quote from one of the many articles out right now about heartbleed. "Some of the most popular websites that you may have visited today - like Yahoo, Twitter, Tumblr and Dropbox - have been attacked by a serious bug. The bug lets hackers easily steal personal financial information, passwords, usernames and encryption keys, and plenty of other private information they shouldn't have." "The good news is that the latest version of OpenSSL fixes the problem and websites are already upgrading. Sites like Yahoo, Twitter, Tumblr and Dropbox that were affected this morning are already fixed."...See MoreHaving trouble with long posts
Comments (11)Update - when I used Chrome this morning, the exact same thing happened after I wrote about one para. So, I emailed back to the Houzz folks and told them that. I just got a further email from them saying that they have figured out that there is a real problem, and they are working on a fix. They have actually been VERY accomodating to me with 2-3 issues I raised with them by email. Responses the same day, fixes within 2 days. Of course, it helps if you are polite and thank them for what they are doing to try and improve things - "you can catch more flies with honey....". Jackie...See MoreMade Cabbage and Sausage Soup
Comments (7)Sounds like a good soup! Sheilajoyce, I had a bad case of salmonella years ago. I spent the whole day in the ER, and they wanted to admit me, but I insisted on going home. I don't think I got out of bed for two weeks. I've never been so sick in my life, to the point where I couldn't even imagine myself well. The ER doctor prescribed an antibiotic, which I continued to take despite a phone call from the Department of Health telling me that antibiotics were useless for salmonella. I don't know if your antibiotic is useless for your illness or not, but I think it might be a good idea to read up on it, and also look into taking a probiotic. Antibiotics can really mess up your gut flora, affecting lots of things, including mental health. I've had a lot of antibiotics for tick-borne illnesses over the years, and wish I'd started taking a probiotic along with them (but not at the same time of day) from the start. I've had good results with Theralac. I hope you'll be fully recovered soon....See More- 3 years ago
